Tools for becoming a powerful speaker
No one’s life was ever changed by a PowerPoint presentation, but many lives have been profoundly affected by hearing a powerful speaker.
On the first day we lay the groundwork for becoming a powerful public speaker. We cover how to plan and structure a presentation, control nerves and overcome common fears of public speaking. Then we go one step further with techniques for using body language and building rapport with the audience. After taking these first steps towards becoming a good presenter, we begin work on individual presentations, and on the second day we put everything into practice, with lots of feedback and support from our expert trainer. By the end of the second day you’ll be able to speak more confidently in front of an audience. You’ll also have your own personal development plan and a toolkit of techniques to turn that plan into action. You’ll leave the workshop with a buzz and a great sense of achievement.
This course is open to everyone. The tools given over the two days are complimented by Working with physical intelligence and Effective business writing.
